Early morning drive from Migori to Mbita Ferry Point the ferry connects Migori County to Siaya County. Morning breakfast drive from Bondo to Kisumu town Kenyan 3rd biggest town. Enroute visit the famous Kit-Mikai (stone of the first wife) among the Luo community. The shape of the unique stones represents the Luo cultural polygamous family, which had the first wife house (Mikai) build further in between. And the right side represents second wife’s house (Nyachira). And to the left third wife (Reru). It is said the first wife (mikayi) used to come and cry here when her husband married the second wife hence the wet stones. Its serves as a sacred place for the villagers to worship in times of troubles.
